Alumina – Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3)
The Most Well-known Oxide Ceramic Material
Here at Ortech Advanced Ceramics we have been manufacturing Aluminium Oxide Al2O3 for over 20 years. Every single month we make 100’s of different prototypes serving a variety of different engineered parts for top national laboratories for the semiconductor industry, pump manufacturers, small to big machine shops all over the world, the medical industry, oil and gas, automotive, electronics, armor and defense to name a few. Due to the state of the art Aluminium Oxide Al2O3 materials manufactured by Ortech, our unique capabilities of producing from the most simple tube, rod or plate to the most dificult 3D Aluminium Oxide Al2O3 part with threaded components. Alumina Ceramics is the most widely used fine ceramics material. This material has superb material characteristics such as high electrical insulation, high mechanical strength, high wear and chemical resistance. Ortech provides state-of-the-art technical ceramic manufacturing with the most cost-effective processes. Ortech maintains efficient manufacturing facilities that support quick-turn around of prototypes to high volume productions.
