Full Ceramic Bearings: These bearings have both the inner and outer races and balls made of ceramic material, such as silicon nitride (Si3N4) or zirconia (ZrO2). Bearings are designed for applications operating in extreme special environments where conventional bearings are not suitable for. Full ceramic bearings are known for their excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature capability, and low friction.
Hybrid Ceramic Bearings: Hybrid bearings combine ceramic balls Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) with steel races or stainless steel. These bearings offer the advantage of ceramic balls' reduced Friction, high speed capability while still maintaining the strength and durability of steel races.
