Sintered Silicon Carbide Ceramics SSiC is a fully dense material that can be produced in a cost effective manner such as dry pressing, and isostatic pressing, to complex net shapes. This grade of silicon carbide is characterized as exhibiting both hardness and toughness. The final properties can be formulated by altering the amount and type of densification aids.
